The Abundant Life Academy
student will be led to break down the walls around their heart
by becoming thankful for all that they have, being grateful
for what God has blessed them with, and returning to a destiny
of promise. When the walls are broken down, they begin to
see how their poor choices undermined everything good in their
lives. Students of Abundant Life Academy experience their
faith and practice discipleship through participation in Mercy
Ministries as they are encouraged by their peers to drop the
selfishness and give to those who are in need.
M e r c y M i n i s t r y C l a s s e s Through ALA Mercy
Ministry classes, the student
is taught about compassion, humility, how to identify other
people’s needs, and also to live out the Christian discipline
of giving to those in need with a servant’s heart. The
students then utilize their Mercy Ministry training and leadership
skills to help prepare outreach ministry projects, fund raise,
and then go forth on mission trips.
