At ALA we have
implemented “360 Degree Education” where we reach
our students academically, physically, emotionally and spiritually,
creating a more holistic approach to education. Real life
criteria are the basis for establishing academic goals that
the student will recognize as positive habits to incorporate
into his/her lifestyle.
Since most of our student athletes will have the dream to
move on to play college sports, the ALA Educational Program
is even more important. Our goal is to restore the academic
prowess of every student athlete. Our hope is to not only
go back and make up for lost time (poor grades) and to improve
GPA’s, but to prepare the student athlete to be successful
at the collegiate level. Our students transcripts will be
evaluated and compared to the NCAA Clearinghouse’s academic
eligibility requirements.
A c a d e m i c s ALA is fully accredited (NAAS),
using a challenging Christian based, self-paced academic curriculum,
with on-site certified teacher/tutors, and a Special Education
teacher to accommodate each student’s individual academic
needs. The student’s academic progress is governed and
managed by a credentialed teacher (Masters Degree). Furthermore,
Abundant Life Academy provides comprehensive academic and
career (vocation) counseling, using state of-the-art software
to assess and determine interests, ability, and skills. The
ALA Team will establish the student’s academic service
plan, all the while setting goals and objectives for the student’s
progress toward program completion and college placement.

P r o g r a m - The dynamic principles of the Life
of Jesus Christ are the foundation to the Abundant Life Academy
Leadership program. We expect the ALA student to become self-motivated
and governed by the standards set by Jesus Himself. We coach
them in such a way as to promote an internal drive to change.
Therefore, the accomplishments of the ALA student come from
their willingness to invest in themselves and see the value
in personal responsibility, excellent communication skills,
and exercising respect and submission to authority.
